HSW Seeks Director for the Kiplinger Research Library

The Historical Society of Washington, D.C. seeks an individual with proven leadership, strong administrative skills, and experience to manage and supervise all operations of the Kiplinger Research Library including oversight of library planning, public service, budget, staffing, volunteers, collections acquisitions, loans and management, and outreach. The Director is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of library and collections management policies and programs that further HSW’s mission and goals.
The Director has extensive public contact through telephone, mail/e-mail, and with visitors to the library. The library’s audience includes the general public, members, scholars, students, the press, donors, and representatives of other institutions. A detailed job description is available (PDF).
