Special Closing Policy

The Historical Society of Washington follows the closing policy of the District of Columbia government. When the District of Columbia government closes due to snow or other special circumstances, the Historical Society of Washington will also be closed. On rare occasions, the Historical Society may close for a special event.

Special Closing:

HSW will close to the public on Wed., December 22, 2010 and reopen on Wed., January 5, 2011. All inquiries, including those to the Kiplinger Research Library, will be returned in January.
